Kennel Technician / Training Assistant
ATX K9 Dog Training ATX K9 Dog Training Elgin, TX Elgin, TX Full-time Full-time $13 - $15 an hour $13 - $15 an hour ATX K9 Dog Training is hiring! We are looking for a motivated individual who loves dogs and doesn't shy away from active work.
Responsibilities include supervising play groups to keep dogs safe, cleaning (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing kennels and training areas), bathing dogs, walking dogs, taking photos for social media, training alongside our head trainer, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
This position has potential for growth! Applicants do not need to know how to train dogs, but must be eager and open to learning.
We will train you.
The ideal candidate has reliable transportation, is friendly and adaptable, able to work and active job on their feet, and is able to lift 50lbs +.
Position will include a 5hr shift Monday - Saturday.
Some flexibility on hours is available.
Occasional Sundays and holidays may be necessary.
There is potential to increase hours in the future.
