BBQ Line Cashier - Duties and Responsibilities Greets and welcomes each customers and processes their order accurately Repeats order to customer either in person or via phone to ensure accuracy of order and customer satisfaction Knowledgeable of menu, demonstrates suggestive selling Use register to track all transactions Demonstrates accurate cash handling abilities.
Packages food correctly for dine in and to go orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier area and cash drawer Follows all TABC regulations for responsible alcohol sales Education and/or Experience Food Handler Certificate required.
TABC required if over 18 years old.
Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to listen, read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
