Job Coach Full Time, Non exempt Position Summary The Job Coach is a non-exempt hourly part-time direct support position located in Day Program, reporting to the Program Manager and supervised by the Vocational Supervisor.
The Job Coach will conduct classroom and on the job training to support the specific goals of individuals.
The Job Coach supports the mission of Down Home Ranch by supporting individuals to be successful in their desired job.
The Job Coach will join with other staff in a high-level commitment to provide an excellent quality of life for the individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities served through Ranch programing.
Typical work schedule is Mon- Fri 9am-5pm This position is located in Day Program ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential Functions Statements Implements the goals Day Program Provides job coaching and training to improve vocational skills and opportunities Train and monitor skills and task completion.
Enhances the ability for individual to lead a self-determined life by proving the support and information necessary to build self-esteem, assertiveness and to make decisions Assist with community vocational task and potential Rancher opportunities.
Maintains the appearance of spaces utilized Assists with the development and implementation of educational and vocational goals for the individuals being served Provides ongoing evaluation of programing to show progress towards individual goals Serves as an instructor for scheduled classes and activities Creates and plans curriculum as requested Provides transportation and ensures vehicles are clean and well-kept Is aware of the requirement for documentation, and is able to manage these requirements effectively Ability to identify an individual's interests, strengths, skills, abilities, and unique set of challenges, while developing vocational offerings Provides guidance and supervision to assigned volunteers Attends staff meetings, cross functional committees, workshops and trainings Complete vocational related training in a timely manner and keep up with CEU's as needed.

REQUIREMENTS Minimum age of 21; excellent driving record and able to pass extensive background investigation High School diploma or equivalent History of supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or other vulnerable populations Detail-oriented, works well under pressure, takes initiative to solve problems, meets deadlines Experience and comfortable with business software Completes work with a high degree of autonomy Reads and complies with all company policies and procedures, such as in the Down Home Ranch Employee Handbook.
Able to write and prepare documentation and reports, as requested.
Experience with data entry into an electronic medical record or database Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate to employees at all levels of the organization Able to maintain confidentiality under requirements of the HIPAA statutes Team player with ability to coordinate and work closely with others Ability to lift 50 pounds Capable of stooping, kneeling, sitting and bending Able to stand for long periods DHR has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
