Summary:
The Direct Support Professional is a live-in position responsible for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily living activities.
This position shares the home and lives of our residents.
The typical schedule is from 5 PM thru 9 AM, Sunday Evening thru Friday Morning.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to clients in their daily living activities Assist clients with basic personal hygiene activities Assist clients with meal preparation and household tasks Coordinates grocery shopping Maintain accurate documentation of client care records The ability to work with, teach, mentor and supervise people with disabilities Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a good driving record High school diploma or equivalent (required) Must pass extensive background checks and drug testing The ability to work with, teach, mentor and supervise people with disabilities Down Home Ranch is a non-profit organization providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Elgin, TX and surrounding areas.
We provide services in home and community settings.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
