Job Description:
As a Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's fundraising efforts and ensuring the success of our development initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of the Development team's strategic goals, aligning efforts with departmental KPIs and fundraising objectives.
Cultivate strong relationships with donors, supporters, and community partners, fostering a culture of generosity and philanthropy.
Coordinate and execute major fundraising events, leveraging your creativity and organizational skills to maximize participation and engagement.
Manage the donation processing workflow, including acknowledgment letters, donor correspondence, and gift tracking, ensuring accurate and timely stewardship.
Generate comprehensive fundraising reports and dashboards, providing insights and analysis to inform decision-making and strategy development.
Facilitate the documentation process for donors' tax forms and requests, ensuring compliance and donor satisfaction.
Maintain and update donor records in the database, liaising effectively with stakeholders and ensuring data integrity.
Oversee the organization and maintenance of foundation, corporation, and individual donor files, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote volunteer engagement and coordinate volunteer events, fostering a sense of community and support.
Identify and secure silent and live auction donations for events and galas, driving revenue and expanding our network of supporters.
Actively participate in virtual and in-person staff meetings, workshops, and trainings, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proven track record in fundraising, development, or related fields, with a focus on donor cultivation and engagement.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and inspire others.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Proficiency in database management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional evening or weekend events.
